The Sheriffhales Shuffle is an annual multi-terrain race that is now in its third year. The event is around about 7 miles and is run mainly over dirt tracks in the beautiful countryside between Sheriffhales, Lilleshall and Newport. Some of the tracks can be a bit muddy in places but overall the route is fairly dry. There are a few minor hills to negotiate as well.
All funds raised by the race go towards the upkeep of the new village hall. There are toilet and changing facilities available and a commemorative token given out to all finishers.
